I had a sander but after getting it from the garage it's broken!

I would ideally like one that is just rectangular - so I can then just buy a big roll of sand paper and cut it to fit.

The problem I've found with triangle shaped ones, or other funny shapes, is you either have to buy the specific sand paper to fit, or it takes ages to cut out the right shape.

Would like one for £20-£40 ideally - if that's possibly?

I barely do DIY so it doesn't have to be super good, just something that does the job.

Thanks

Wickes do a 1/3rd sheet orbital sander for just under £30 - that'll do you well enough.
You'll get the same type of thing from B&Q etc.
The triangular detail sander isn't really what you need - if you want to spend more you can get machines that grab the abrasive sheet with Velcro, but the replacement sheets are pricey.
