Recommendation for adhesive for kitchen tiles? Primer needed?

Can someone recommend an adhesive for tiling kitchen splashbacks and into the window recess?
Before installing the kitchen I made good old plaster and boxed in some pipes with plasterboard in the area that I now want to tile. Do I need to prime the newly skimmed walls or the plasterboard? I have an open SBR can if that is of any use.

Forgot to say, it's glazed ceramic tiles in an off white colour.

Wait 4 weeks from plastering to tiling as per MI. SBR won't hurt it at all.

Personally I'd use Green Star by BAL.

Thanks I was looking at BAL and was just about to go for White Star. Green Star is obviously cheaper. Can it cope with some corners formed by plasterboard and others plaster?

White Star is many times better than Green Star. If you find a stockist of Blue Star then check that out as it's in the middle of Green Star and White.

Honestly though, if youre willing to spend the money on White Star then do it. You won't regret it.
