Recommendations for portable battery charger

I'm thinking of buying a reasonably priced reliable portable car battery charger.

Any recommendations?

I guess it depends on what you really need.....is it a start / charger type or a more basic type?
Either way, consider a smart charger which will sort either conventional lead/acid batteries or the more complex calcium types - very important if you have a caravan battery for example or a small motorcycle one.
