Recycle bricks and concrete as aggregate for concrete floor?

We will be laying a concrete ground floor, approx 200m2, inside a refurbished and extended house that will be a meditation centre and world peace cafe in London NW11.

We've got old masonry - concrete and bricks - that we can either pay to have taken away or recycle ourselves with a concrete crusher for the 125-150mm aggregate base for the concrete slab.

1. Is the masonry likely to be suitable material for the base?
2. Is crushing it for reuse on site likely to be economic?

You can use crushed brick and concrete, if clean, but there must be no plaster, no wood, and no metal in it.
