Redoing the Shower Room

Have just started to redo the shower room, here are some pictures
(Forgot to take a before pic, but will look and see if i have one from when we moved in, saved somewhere)

New Fan Fitted


The perm live goes to the over ride switch & fan isolator, then to the sensor socket.

The sw live goes from the sensor socket to the lights sockets, then to the fan isolator.

The neutral goes from the sensor socket to the lights sockets, then to the fan isolator.


The lighting sockets are left over from a job, & are made by flex connectors

All the plasterboard I got for free, as it was left over on the site I was working on and was going to be skipped.
 
Removing Shower





Bottom of wall was rotted, as it sat on the top of the tray

I hope that you dont mind me saying what a great job you've done.
The wiring and comm's cables in particular, can be esp tricky.

Perhaps next time you will have a bit of a practice at sweating cu pipework, and bending it if a bender is available.

Whats very impressive is that you've only had a small footprint to work in, and this can so depress and frustrate DIY'ers after a short time, but you've persisted. Thats great.

I take it you have the hot and cold fed from a head tank with the shower, someone I know connected a power shower directly to the mains water and wondered why it leaked a lot! They didn't know the difference between an electric shower and a power shower :LOL:
 
i'd have tanked that shower area before you tiled.

Wow! A lot of work you got going on here. Didn't see it in the pictures you have here, are you planning to have rain shower heads? I had a 16" ultra thin rain shower head added to mine just a few months ago - really enjoying it a lot.
