After further investigation i found that the rads upstairs are getting really hot but rads downstairs are cold. The pump seams to be working but im assuming that the pump being 6 years old is worn and requires replacing.
Also looking at the boiler pressure quage i see that the pressure when calling for heat and the boiler is working rises to about 3 bar. This i also conclude that the air pressure in the expansion vessel is low. However when i try to get a reading from the valve nothing comes out when i open it. I have tried filling it with air, ( After draing the system), but do pressure will enter the vessel vior the filling valve. Any ideas what could be the problem. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
