Reform did well. Again.

Far rage has literally lifting his approach from the MAGA playbook. Brexhit showed voters were prepared to harm their country to feel good about regaining sovereignty, so we’ll see about thei capacity on this one. As for making Durham CC staff work from the office, they redeveloped the Council HQ so will have to spend more money to achieve the end of wfh. Maybe that’s the price of a sound bite

Isn’t that how Labour took power from the Tories too?
And let it not be forgotten how they took a mahoosive majority in less than five years to the point where farage is now the unofficial opposition and even Ed 'dad dancing' Davey is more popular. Nice going.

Nor does money, and they are short on both
have you missed that the government has just given 1.6 billion to sort the pot hole problem out perhaps better management will help clear them up .

You have no evidence there is poor management slowing the progress.

You are just a gammon full of opinions
yes i have.
i drive on the roads everyday i have about 40 pot hole repairs in about 50 yards outside my house , repairs on repairs .
in part of my county after a FOI request asking how many pot holes have been repaired free under the 2 year warranty on said repairs when they reappear the answer was only around 60 most people could count that within a few roads let alone half a county . They said they only inspect 15 % of actual repairs done . So yes bad management .
If they were not constantly repairing their poor repairs they could deal with all the new holes quicker .

You obviously being in your w#nk chariot all day dont get out on the roads

It’s fact…..their manifesto literally included a cut of £150b to public services…..people who lose those services would either go without or pay privately

Sorry mate but you seem to be referring to the 2024 manifesto - no this weeks local elections

As for making Durham CC staff work from the office
It’s another right wing playbook: attacking working from home.

Ironically it’s often done by Daily Mail journalists, sitting at home

Reforms manifesto shows who they are: free market libertarians that want to slash public services and give tax cuts to the rich

You’ve made plenty of posts saying how we should pay more taxes to get better services and here you are supporting the tax cutting party. Muppetry in action

Hidden away in cut highway budgets, won’t t make a difference imo

After serving 36yrs in the RN, I worked in the Civil Service for 12 years before finally retiring.
The work ethic of the office staff was totally alien to what I was used to in the Service.
I obviously set too high a bar when working with civvies ;)
I’m guessing you retired as an Admiral if you were in that long!

Who says I'm supporting them? No voting in Surrey AND you are raking up last years manifesto .............not me

This is a free country and each time bigots like you call people who disagree with your votes names or worse, you just encourage more people to vote against you.

They could fill them WITH the diversity officers!
Sadly (or happily, depending on your perspective) there are far more potholes than divers officers and the gap is growing. But people get holidays in Spain, nice German cars on credit, great kitchens etc etc because we live in a low tax economy. Maggie T started it and Bliar continued it because nobody voted for the Ljb Dems when they promised an extra penny in the pound on income tax.
And if the response is that shoplifters aren’t arrested because the police are too busy on Pride events, just wait to see how Re form get on in Durham when they sack the diversity officers. Be assured there will be as many potholes as before, and the nhs will be just as sh*t
Money isn’t the only problem it’s an attitude problem the whole country has, public and private sector

So yes bad management
No you’ve not proven that

None of figures you quoted show a measure of efficiency

I would be grateful if you could show me your workings out

I’m sure Nigel Farage is making a huge impact on potholes in Clacton :ROFLMAO:

ownership of doing a good job is sadly lacking in many instances we all see the pot holes repairs that needed extending by as little as a couple of inches to stop the water and weather getting under them again but nope the white paint mark stops there and im not spending 30 seconds extra digging that out
