Send them somewhere who will welcome them, Rwanda is a good option which nobody used. I would give them egg and chips and then straight on a plane to Rwanda for processing. I am sure they would be flocking over here then. Only ones that should be put into hotels in the UK are genuine family's fleeing from war torn countries, such as Ukraine, not from France.40,000 migrants in hotels

Most of the Ukrainian refugees weren’t in Ukraine when they claimed asylum in the U.K.
I've said there should be offshore processing, other countries are looking at that. That, and more safe routes.

Not at all, I said any genuine families regardless of where they arrive from should be given hotels to live in until they can safely return home. Nobody would have a problem with that. The single men arriving from France in boats should be processed in Rwanda.
It isn't wise to break international law willy nilly. Apart from creating a poor perception of UK on the international stage, it can be time and resource wasteful.

No, Rwanda wasn't about processing, people would be sent there, never to return, even if they were genuine refugees.

Not under the Tory Rwanda scheme, they couldn't get to the UK from there.
But they are coming across the chanel by inflatables so arriving here ilegally with no visas or an invite, they then can be deported safely to Rwanda. Nobody is coming from Rwanda to here, it is the other way round.
But you said genuine refugees should be housed here? Most of the boat people who are processed are deemed genuine.
