Just think about the trailer and ownership of a vehicle on it.Your is.
Find somebody with some experience of similar and then come back with your story of 2 mates.
Pure BS

You did read I usually get expenses paid ?Ah, so apart from preparing the cars, supplying the support vehicle, the tools, the spares, the consumables and carrying out running repairs, you also trailered the vehicles to the European circuits too, all for the love of the sport! How on earth did those organ grinders carry on without their monkey after Brexit?
How kind of them to "usually" cover your expenses. You did read I usually get expenses paid ?
Mottie admits he ignores evidence from the music industry, exhibition industry etc.No idea. Forget what you read and how you think things are supposed to be. I don’t know anyone personally in the music industry to ask if their personal experiences, do you? All I am recounting is what I was told by two people I know that have personal experience of going through the 'torture' of travelling to the EU. Obviously you’re in the remainer camp and don't want to hear that. I couldn’t give a toss whether you or carman believe it or not. I believe what I was told by those with actual experience of travelling, in a van, with tools, with stock, to carry out work in the EU. IT. AIN'T. HARD.
The UK has gained zero benefits from leaving, so what was the point.Ah, so apart from preparing the cars, supplying the support vehicle, the tools, the spares, the consumables and carrying out running repairs, you also trailered the vehicles to the European circuits too, all for the love of the sport! How on earth did those organ grinders carry on without their monkey after Brexit?
Upset? Who's upset? I find it laughable that yet another remoaner has 'chucked in the towel' alkegedly because of Brexit.Poor Mottie, getting upset because he knows he is wrong

Mottie knows better than all the recognised sources, and his 2 mates down the pub agreeMottie admits he ignores evidence from the music industry, exhibition industry etc.
Mottie admits he ignores evidence from supermarket trade bodies but instead thinks because he found some tomatoes at one time means their evidence can be ignored.
Poor Mottie, getting upset because he knows he is wrong

What other reason then?Upset? Who's upset? I find it laughable that yet another remoaner has 'chucked in the towel' alkegedly because of Brexit.
Mottie supports the damage Brexit has done to the U.K. music industry, the exhibition industry, fishing, farming.Upset? Who's upset? I find it laughable that yet another remoaner has 'chucked in the towel' alkegedly because of Brexit.

The recognised sources are saying 100s and 100s go every year without problems.M
Mottie knows better than all the recognised sources, and his 2 mates down the pub agree

You still aren't saying if you got stopped, fined or inspected. Sounds like any attention you had was to make sure it wasn't nicked.Depends on the setup .
If it's 1 car with very few spares going to a single venue event it's usually a written inventory and oral declaration.
If it's a bigger setup then a carnet.
The issue is that it is never the same setup so every time is different. That's the real issue.
It's not easy to throw a tarp over a van full of tools and equipment with a trailer and a car attached.
The fact the trailer may or may not be mine, and the car isn't mine ALWAYS draws attention
