Hi folks. I am new to this forum. We moved into a house where the kitchen floor is Welsh slate and we were told it was sealed. It is looking a bit weary. How do I set about refreshing it? (all I've done in the last 2 years is wash it). Do I have to strip off the old sealer? Or can I just put a new sealer on top? Or is there any better alternative. Have read up on various products but am no wiser. Which ones? And which method? Thank you!

you need to give it a good clean, then re-seal. If you want a natural finish then use ltp-mattstone or lithofin mn stain stop, if you want a gloss\semi gloss use lithofin slate seal.

Use a cleaner from the same range before re-sealing, this is just to remove old dirt and grime so you dont seal that in.
