hi folks i have a slate hearth i need to seal. i have brought a proper slate fire sealer but it gives a very mat finish.

i am after something that looks like when you have wiped the slate over with a damp cloth that brings out the full colour and depth of the sale.

any ideas welcomed.

lithofin slate seal. 3 or 4 coats.

not sure how long the shine will with the heat but on a floor it lasts ages
