Refused a Job - Messy Loft

The second reason was the house had light beige carpet thru most of the house and she made me take my shoes off coming in the door - it made going up the ladder to the loft very uncomfortable.

Blue plastic overshoes, I always use them.
It doesn't cost much to respect peoples homes.

You must never take your shoes off on a job! Use covers as suggested above. If you take your steelies off & have an accident, your insurance will not pay out!

I know someone this happened to. Not only did the insurance refuse PB to pay out, but he got hauled through a disciplinary too...

Hey! Morrissey!

Were you only joking when you said you'd like to smash every tooth in my head?

Well - at least you'd finished off that neat job on the wall-mounted spotlight... :D

That spotlight was most convenient as it was pointing directly at the consumer unit.

Sweetness I WAS only joking when I said I'd like to smash every tooth in your head, however that joke isn't funny anymore.

As a matter of interest has anyone every refused to do a job because there is so much junk in the attic?

All the time.

The letters that get sent out to say we are coming to your home etc state on them that "access must be made to the metering equipment" blah blah blah.

I only usually back heel them if i'm in a rush and haven't the time to move the junk tho, and I always make access myself if the customer is elderly or disabled etc.

Remember a few years ago we were told about a colleague in scotland who was moving some stuff to get under the stairs and picked up a snake thinking it was some kind of hose, the customer said " he escaped yesterday and I wondered where he'd got to"
