Hello!
I've used the forum before when reading other threads, but now I've signed up, so... hi there.
This strictly isn't DIY, but it may become so...
I have just had a wood burning stove installed. The installer also fitted a register plate, as I expected. A flue liner has also been installed. However, while one side of the register plate fits nice and snugly into the brick pier, on the other side, there is a gap between the edge of the plate and the brickwork big enough for me to put a finger up! I wasn't expecting this. Does this sound normal, or should the register plate be fitted tight? I just wanted to check this out before standing up to the installer.
Thanks,
Jonathan
