regulations for fitting flue through wall

hi i am fitting a flue for 40kw biomass log boiler i think i will have to go out through the wall before i can go vertical as i am worried that the flue flashing wont seal properly on the box profile roof
the walls are 8" masonary then framed with100mm kingspan then 10mm plasterboard
what i need to know is

how far does flue have to be from timber frameing ?

does it have to be the same distance from the kingspan insulation & plaster board ?
the flue is 200mm (id) & 250mm (od) which is insulated
