Ok I will add this to ask how I do it, on the 12volt side which powered the coil and the mag locks I want to put in a colour change LED green for unenergised and red for energised

If you lose the 12v supply then there's no way to power the green LED.... unless you can tap into the 24v from the door hold (At the relay)
So 24v from door will power the green LED (with a resistor to bring down to 12v) and the 12v supply will power the red one?
