Relaying Quarry Tiles

Hello,

I'm hoping for advice about relaying some Victorian quarry tiles in my kitchen.
I've removed an internal wall and the DPM and concrete the rest of the floor is on doesn't cover that area - see photos.
I'd like to patch this area with some of the same tiles.
What's the best way the do this?
Can I put DPM to cover the bare area then concrete and tile over? How thick/deep do I need the concrete?
Grateful for any suggestions. Thanks.

Dom, then bitumen paint to seal the edges, then concrete and tile.
