I am having a through lounge done by builders in a house that I will move into in a few weeks time. The process involved supporting the floor joists by building two pillars at either end and placing the RSJ onto the padstones.
This morning I discovered that the acros supporting the RSJ were removed after only 10hours of making the pillars and placing the beam on the padstones. I have read in other threads on this forum that the recommended time is 48hours.
I want to know what are the risks and repurcussions of the builders actions?
