remove Peugeot boxer spare wheel

Hi I have to remove the spare from under the van, I'm guessing it is supposed to be undone by unscrewing it from above but we have had the van converted into a horsebox with a fitted aluminium floor!. Is it possible to undo it from underneath without the aid of an angle grinder? ( it will never go back, have one on the back).

I reckon you'll have to cut the thing off mate.....preferably at the hook which will allow the cradle to fall and the wheel to drop out.
The cradle can then be unhooked from it's forward mounts or tied back up again.

Have you tried deflating the tyre to see if that gives you enough play to unhook the cradle?
