Just asking if ok to take it down by turning the valves each end off , drain it then just cap the ends ?.....
Have added images to help , as said not worried about any pipes showing just the radiator gone ...

If your happy to leave the valves there to just close the valves and undo the tails slightly ensuring you catch the water in something adequate. I use a plastic rubble bag and hold that under the tails as the water drips out. If its not flowing enough either open the tails a bit more or release the air valve.

If you want the valves removing and pipework capped that will involve draining the system.

If you are happy to just have two pipes with a valve on each end sticking up out the floor ,then yes you can do as you intend. The only other thing that you may need to take into consideration is if all your other radiators have been fitted with thermostatic valves ,the one in your pic has not been fitted with one for a reason . do all other rads have trv's ??

Hello thanks for reply and none of the radiators have thermostatic valves fitted .. thank you again ...

Bear in mind that the two unsupported copper stems will be much more prone to damage than when securely held by a radiator
