Or try and size and install an emitter that matches the heat loss of the space!
Which may take a little longer..

Yes, definitely insulated.
Unfortunately, we had issues with the roof leaking due to the low pitch being too low. We had it converted to a warm roof which has a large amount of insulation on it and there's the remainder of the existing insulation inside below the ceiling.
It's a frosty morning here and reviewing the numerous thermometers I have, currently there's s not much difference between the extension and the bedrooms but the lounge is warmer.
