removed artex

scrape as much artex as i could to prepare a fat surface to reskim ceiling in my bathroom , will i be alright if i give it 2 coats of pva before reskiming it
any other advices will be appreciated

2 coats of pva is fine and use mulifinish and 2 coats

i use wickes bonding agent on artex- as you know artex sucks like crack house whore and wba kills this virtually dead.

then skim to a two coat finish you may even need a third depending on the depth of the artex itself but if its really deep you can give it a tight coat of bonding first but if you have scrapped it off mostly then multi should be fine.
