So removing a kitchen and have the unit around the oven removed. Do not want to kill myself but it would help greatly if I can get this oven out. It is going to the dump as not working properly anyway and about 30 years old.

Attached are the photos of what I have. How do I make it all safe? I will not be having a cooker (or anything in this space in the future.).

An electrician will be coming at some point to do other work for me in terms of chasing walls for new sockets etc but I am trying to do all the clearance of the old kitchen

Pictures of all relevant parts (I hope). Also including my electric box.... To do anything electrical I normally just flick up the two red switches but showing the "open" box in case there is something else I need to do for this.

I do not have a power tester of any sort..... just one of the screwdrivers that lights up if there is still power...

thanks in advance

Switch the main switch off

Open the red cooker switch

Disconnect the load cable and pull it down via that white conduit, assuming that goes upto the switch?

You might struggle as the conduit looks crushed
