Removing a C&K securitech 800L

Hello,
My neighbour has an 800L alarm that she doesn't ever use but it still went off a couple of times recently which sends her dog wild. She is in her 70s and wants it disconnected. I tried shutting off the mains power and disconnecting the internal 12v lead acid battery but the outside sounder still beeped repeatedly. Can any one tell me how to totally disable the whole system please.

You shut that right way but it just one more battery inside of bellbox. You can consider either climb to it, open and disconnect or leave it for couple of hours for self discharge.
