Removing a cd/radio from a 2001 Peugeot 306

I bought the car and want to change the radio to a new usb type one.

Now problem is I can't find the correct removal tools I have looked on halfords site at the available tools but they are all for custom radio types or 4pin din.

Now I am not sure the radio in the car is the original as the facia looks like the ones the recommend you replace them with but there is no visible make on the outside.

The only hole on the front are 2 at the top I have seen this mentioned on a few sites but I can't find the corresponding remove tool for just 2 holes. I did try the standard one for 4 holes as the CD slot is inline with the hole but that didn't work

Can you post a picture of the radio?

It may help to advise you further.

a couple of small screwdrivers usually works, levering them slightly helps push the locking pins out

I'll try the screw drivers and get a photo it it dosn't work
