Removing a rusted in screw

My outside halogen light bulb has gone & I need to open up the casing to put a new bulb in. There is a small screw that's rusted solid & I think I've worn the screw head out trying to undo it. I squirted some WD40 on it so it might loosen it enough just to get it out.

My question.....is WD40 good for this or do I need to get some penetrating oil ?

sounds like you may have to drill it out if it`s that corroded.

wots that to do with roofing anyway
