I'm looking at renovating my kitchen, which currently has a stud wall running maybe 1m which I'd like to remove. This is definitely an addition (The house is 1950's), and will be next to no trouble to take out appropriately.

Question is (And I know it's a stupid one)...do I need to get some permission from Building Reg Authorities to do this? It's surely not a load bearing wall given it's size.

TIA.[/u]
