Soon to move into a house with a 15ft x 30ft in the garden. As much as I want to convince myself to keep it, a combination of running costs, small children, crap weather and its general state of disrepair means it has to go.
Have found many sites in the US/Aus (funnily enough) with specialist companies in this line of work but few in the UK.
Various posts suggest knocking in the walls down a foot or so. Holes in the bottom for drainage. Plenty of hardcore then onto dirt and finally topsoil. Compacting as you go.
Sounds simple enough if a little labour intensive ... not sure I can get a digger into the garden ... but any other hints and tips from here would be gratefully received. Thanks,
Just a thought ... given access issues would pumping concrete be an idea? No idea if costs rule this out though??
