Removing concrete from Victorian terrace

Hello,

We have just moved into a Victoria terrace and have a small courtyard garden that has multiple layers of concrete.

We want to remove the concretes and put down gravel in its place and surround with flower beds. Will removing this concrete cause any issues? It's not in great condition and it goes straight up to the house.

I've attached some images of the house and a rough idea of what we want it to look like.

What kind of issues were you envisaging? It's not supporting anything but that shed. I don't see any manhole covers. The only issue I can think of is that it's going to be a lot of waste concrete to get rid of!
Looks like quite a damp climate, so take drainage into account in your new design - be prepared for that pale yellow gravel to be green. Or maybe it's the the impermeable concrete that doesn't let water drain.
Don't come back in a year asking for a permanent no-maintenance solution to weeds growing in gravel. There isn't one.

As the concrete currently goes straight up to the house I just wanted to check that by removing it wouldn't cause any damp issues? By partner is a lawn care technician so we'll have the weeds under control.

Given the permeability of concrete, I doubt that removing is going to cause a damp issue. Make sure whatever replaces it isn't higher than the DPC.
