We have an out building attached to the house wall containing high-level WC. Mains water via lead pipe embedded in the wall converting to copper to feed the cistern and outside tap .

The idea is to remove the WC and retain the cold water feed for the tap. That's reasonably easy, but what is the best way to stop-off the waste pipe?

WHAT?!!! Take out the toilet?!!! Keep it, when you get older you'll be really pleased when you get caught short with muddy boots on and the kitchen floor is still wet after being washed.

i am sure i read on here that some one put some "rubbish" (think it was couple of plastic bags) down the pipe (obvioulsy not too far) then filled the remainder with concrete
