Evening ladies and gents,
I'm after a bit of advice. I'm planning on removing a brick wall in my house, I've carried out the usual checks above in the loft and can confirm the joists are run parallel to the wall and that it isn't load bearing. The problem is the construction of the rest of the house that concerns me... Scott's wood? (Not sure how it's spelt) I'm worried the reason for the brick wall is to give the external timber walls stability?
Any advice would be appreciated?
Thanks
