Removing leaves from bottom of drain pipe

There is a small grating in some tarmac that the rainwater from the garage roof flows into - then into a c4 inch pipe that goes vertically down a long way.

I'm trying to get the leaves out of the vertical pipe but it goes down much further than my arm. So I need something to get another 18-24" further down that can collect/grab the leaves.

Any ideas or solutions will be gratefully received.
