Hi everyone,

We recently removed some build in wardrobes from a bedroom, and where they met the celing it has left a strip of plaster stuck pretty firmly on the ceiling.

It wont simply pull off, and the ceiling is artex and so im a little concerned about asbestos - but I want to get rid of this strip running across the ceiling!

Has anyone got any tips of how i might be able to remove it?

Thank you!

Joe

Wasit where the top of the wardrobe had a trim board to meet the ceiling?

If so you sure it's plaster and not filler of some kind.

Can you knock it off with a filler knife / scraper n hammer

Scaff

it could well be some sort of filler. it's pretty stuck to the ceiling. I tried to knock a bit off and felt like it was going to take the ceiling off with it! I'll give it another go.
