I have spent ages trying to remove sealant from the removed uprights of a shower screen where they attach to the tiles. So far I have used a couple of chisels, a stanley knife and some vigorous application of sandpaper/glasspaper. I have removed most of the stuff from one item but after 3 hours I still have to face the task of repeating the process for the other.

Can anyone recommend some tips to speed this job up. Thanks in advance.

Warm up the silicone slightly with a Heat gun ,surprisingly it softens it so the chisel can work easier

I know you dont believe it but try it .................................

Make sure to report back :D :D
