    Hi,

Currently renovating an old mining cottage and need to remove a radiator that doesn't seem to have a drain valve.

Its on a combi boiler which has been turned off alongside the water and the power to the entire property, any suggestions on how to remove it please?

Photos should be below, cheers! Sam

This looks like a combined flow/return valve.
There may be an internal pipe running from the valve into the radiator to disperse the water (so take care when removing!)

If you don't want to drain the system,
    Turn off the radiator valve
Dig the gunge out of the lockshield next to it and use a suitable tool to close that (may be an Allen key?)
When the supply is off, use a radiator spanner e.g.:
    https://www.screwfix.com/p/radiator-spanner/11467
To undo the bottom plug and release one of the top ones to avoid an airlock.
(Or just undo the nut on the valve side with a spanner)

Hopefully the valves won't leak, but be prepared for the whole system to drain!
You can always put the plug back in :)

I'd drain the system as you're more than likely going to need to adjust that pipework if your are fitting a new rad.
