Removing rads to decorate?

Hello experts, im removing 1 or 2 rads to decorate (remove n replace wallpaper) for few days so i wanted to know is it ok to run my heating system while they are removed? cos its getting bloomin cold at night now cheers Dave. :)

You can, as long as the valves are tight shut.

Personally, I would never disturb a heating system just for decorating in a place you can't see!
 
as well as making sure the valves are shut properly, if you have TRV's be aware that they have a frost setting on them, which means that if the temp drops too low the valve will weep some water to prevent freezing (thats ok when connected to a rad, not so good when it weeps onto the floor and causes damage) you might need to consider capping the TRV side just in case
