removing remote keypad from scantronic 9000

I have a scantronic 9000 alarm system in a house i recently bought. Upstairs there is a second smaller keypad that is connected to the system. I want to rip this out and remove it as its not required.

How do i do this without upsetting the alarm system. I havethe user codes to unset the alarm.

Open the control panel and enter your code to shut up the tamper alarm. Have a look at the terminals and you'll see where the keypad wires in. Remove those wires and the keypad is dead. Can't remember if you need to link out the keypad tamper though. Does it have two terminals marked tamper or T? If so link them out. Put lid back on and remove keypad.
