Removing shower plate

Hi, can anyone advise how to remove this plate and shower controls to check for valve leakage? There are no grub screws or similar. Thanks.

I would imagine you need to remove the knobs, cut the sealer around the plate, then gently lever plate off.

If there are defo no grub screws (sometimes hidden with tiny chrome caps) then the knobs will pull off, but they can be very stubborn.

Your plate is siliconed on, you can see it around the edge when you zoom in, but knobs off first.

Knobs definitely not coming off by force! No grub screws either.. I will get the plate off first I think
