I have an illuminated bathroom mirror. The mirror lifts off and there are two T4 fluorescent tubes either side. These 2 pin tubes are each slotted into a fitting which has a connector plugged into each one.

As the tube is so slim, I am worried about breaking it. The tubes are quite close to the inside edge of the unit and I cannot turn the tube or lift it. The top and bottom of the fitting don't seem to move up or down, to allow me to slide the tube out.
Any advice ?
Many thanks.

You sure it wont quarter turn and slide out, it may just be a bit stiff due to heat build up?
Use both hands at each end.
If your still struggling could you possibly upload a pic?

Thank you so much ! The fluorescent is now out.

As the light is so close to the inside edge of the fitting, you can't get thumb or finger between, to get a grip. It was tightly fitted in but eventually turned that quarter turn as you suggested.

I did attach a pic - have I not uploaded it properly ?

Anyway - many thanks again.

All the best,

Pip
