we got a hotpoint WMA64S washing machine...there is water in the drum, but the machine wont empty the drum or spin to take the water out, thought..any ideas what it could be ?..was thinking of removing the waste hose connector at the back to see if there is any blockage..removed cover plate at the back but waste pipes seemed to be secured with a white plastic type solid clip...seems very difficult to remove...like a jublie clip of some sort..

most machines have a filter that the water goes thro before it reaches the pump, make sure it isn't blocked, also make sure the hose isn't kinked.

where is this filter located ?...anyone got a service manual for this machine..?would like to remove the waste house but how do you get those solid white plastic clips ?
