Renault Megane 02 plate

looking for help and a littel advice. i have a renault megane o2 plate that for no apparent reason has started to run very uneven ( shuddering when ticking over and running unevenly ) also the engine managment light is on, the only previous problems I have noticed is a little miss or a slight flat spot when accelerating

faulty coil pack is very common on these. easy DIY job to change it.

Yep, as above.
To trck down the faulty pack, unplug the multipin plugs which go to the coils one at a time. whne doing 3 of them the engine will probably stall, when you find the one that makes no difference to the engine revs, you've found your knackered one.
We're around £50 from renault last time i got one, but try gsfcarparts.com as they're probably doing them now

Check the number burnt into the rest of the coil packs, if its 401 or below replace them as they will fail!
