Hi All

Can anyone let me know the difference between rendagrip and blue grit?

I have a small area of external rendering to do, and some blue grit left over from a precious job.

Just wondering if there is any reason not to use it? Obviously rendagrip is advertised as being for rendering, but having never used it I am not sure if it's any different to blue grit.

Cheers in advance

Bluegrit is only for internal use, at least thats what it says on the tin.
If you have any sbr you can make a slurry as a bonding coat

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

Any idea what makes rendagrip suitable for external whereas blue grit is only for internal?

An SBR slurry sounds like a cheaper option (the rendering is a maximum of 2m2 so you can see why 35 quid for 10l of rendagrip isnt that appealing!). Will look into that.
