rendering a pond

ive built a concrete block pond what is the best way to render it some say one coat, others two coats, some three
any ideas of mix once again 3/1 2/1 plus added fibres for reinforcing
where is the cheapest place for purchasing fibres

find someone that does fibreglass work, got a guy down here who does concrete pond linings in fibre for £30 a sqm all in. looks bloody awesome and won't crack :)
 
Not sure if you mean the exterior wall, or the bit with the water in???? Please verify.

yep, the bit that holds the water - make it concrete or block built, then this fella does his thing. you can buy decent liner for £1 OR £2 A msq (plus the excess you cut off and waste), but if the budget is there, fibreglass knocks spots off it finish wise - no folds etc and someone else does all the work
