Repair leaking flat asphalt garage roof - is it possible?

Hello, Can anyone advise on best way to repair this old flat leaking asphalt garage roof? Ideally, I don't want to replace and rebuild as I plan to remove and rebuild above garage in next 5 years so looking for best short-term solution. I've looked at Watco Rooftite pour and repair and other liquid rubber solutions, all of which have different reviews. Or Sika Everbuild Aquaseal Liquid Roof using membrane to reinforce? Or is felt a better way to go? Any advice?

Acrypol..cromapol should see you OK for a few years..reinforce any wider cracks with reinforcing tape.

Thanks so much - do you recommend I cover the whole surface or just the wider cracks with scrim? If the whole area, do you think 20kg will be enough? (it's a single garage)

Acrypol has fibres in the mix, I would make sure the cracks and any other suspects areas are well cleaned out and dry and fill with acrypol..scrim tape when dry and another brush over.
20kg will be plenty for that area.

OP,
Your roof is shot - I doubt very much that you will get five years wear out of it.
The asphalt will expand every warm day and open up the splits its already caused at the abutment with the parapet flashing. Not least because of badly sized angle piece at the abutment.

The parapet has already had an attempt at repair by draping what appears to be felt over the parapet - but that attempt has failed &, in turn, there's been an attempt to repair the repair felt.
Vegetation is growing in the outlet chute and elsewhere.

My experience says "short time" repairs dont work.

Thank you for your advice - you are no doubt right - I just don't have the funds to pay to have the whole roof recurrently. Of all the short-term solutions, if you absolutely had to pick one, which would it be please? Re-felt over with bitumen glue or bitumen felt? Acrypol?
