Guys
I am looking at the second flat roof on the property , and all of the firrings (aks fillets) [the sloped timber cross beams that go across the kists, and give slope to the flat roof), are all rotten within the first 6 to 9 inches.
Further along, from , say the 12 inch .. 18 inch point, they are fine.
Any advice on whether I can cut and replace these sections ? Maybe with some sort of bracket ?
Any thoughts gratefully received.
