Repair to DPM

Does anyone have any idea's on how to fix a small hole in a Damp Proof Membrane?
The hole is about 4cm long at the edge of the concrete floor. I can get to and see the tear, but am unsure of the best way to seal it.

With a few liberal coats of AQUASEAL HYPRUFE bitumen paint, or equivalent.
