You clearly know your way around a gym. You'll find what works pretty quick. I was taking Naproxen at first but made a point of not doubling up with paracetamol etc. I took as little as I could. Discs often bulge over time not always some massive trauma and felt knowing when I was aggravating it was important. What shocked me was how long it takes for nerves to regenerate. I nipped a femoral root once. Hardly any pain but quad atrophy from hell for a good few months. Now I'm old my life is made of flying the settee, doritos and Heineken. Pain free!
