Replace ACL TS142 with Danfoss RET2000MD

Ok ive had to borrow a few pictures!
Here is the exact wiring set up i have (so no earth connection) - i was told that the Danfoss RET2000MD would be an ok swap for this - also attached the wiring diagram

The attached RET2000M wiring diagram is the same as the the RET2000MD

NOTE: for RET2000MD live supply is from the time control output (which is mentioned just under the diagram)


So has the chap that gave me these got it wrong?

Does this new one need a 230v supply in which case this isnt going to work is it? or could i link 1 to L?
and 2 (old) to 2(new)???

1 currently is live call from the Timer...
2 is a switched live
4 neutral on my TS142

Nice one....so basically thermostat will go off when heating is off?

I know what he means.
You could set your CH timer to 24 hours if it has a negitive effect.
I still like to make use of the twice and once function though
