I have a drayton LP722 that I am replacing with a Wiser Thermostat 3 (WT734R)

In terms of wiring the LP722 is wired as follows

In my case I have nothing in channel 1. 2 and 4 go to a first zone and 3 goes to a secondary zone so in effect the HW is used to time the second zone currently.

This is the wiring diagram for the WT734R, Because the backplate is the same the install should be a simple swap but I wanted advice on how to ensure that on the new controller the heating zones are in fact heating zones and the HW is unused.

Number 2 on the Lp722 is heating off, so I wouldn't have thought it's a heating zone. I'm not au fait with using heating off, as in the UK it's rarely used.
