Any reason why I should pay north of £12 for a specialist replacement freezer lamp, rather than a couple of quid for a led lamp from screwfix?
I've checked, and led lamps are good to minus 25 degrees C......
Other than it being specific to your freezer i.e a very specific bulb shape....then no.
As long as it fits, I don't see the issue.
Just make sure the Voltage requirements are the same. Max wattage only applies to incandescent. So you should have no issues with finding a brighter LED equivalent.
