Replacement aluminium window stays

I am having a real problem finding a replacement window stay. I have measured as all the websites suggest but the problem is the part that fixes to the window is too short on all replacements.

The measurements are 12" (305mm) Side Hung Stays
the stack is 13mm
and the bar (part that attaches to the opening window is 270mm)

The replacements I have purchased are as above but the bar (part that attaches on opening window is 230mm) I cannot find a replacement with a 270mm window bar

Can anyone help please?

So you don't need stays, are you talking about hinges?
